Storyline 2 - Import hangs

When importing a slide from an existing SL2 file the software hangs (spinning wheel). Cannot cancel, cannot exit using the close button, have to force close the application.
After many attempts to do this from one existing project to another existing project I started a new project and tried to import one page from an existing project with the same result: endless spinning wheel.
We have some projects that need to use importing and we cannot complete them without this basic functionality. Is there a workaround or update that might help us?

Hi Michael!
Sounds like you may be having some general issues. If Articulate Storyline isn't working properly, a simple repair usually fixes the problem.

In addition to Leslie's suggestion for the repair, please also confirm that you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file.
