Storyline 2 matching question correct answer text to small

Sep 13, 2017

I created a matching question quiz with ten questions using drop downs to display answers.  When the user completes all ten questions, submits and then goes to review the answers the correct answer text is so small it is nearly unreadable.  I tried to find some way to style the text but found no options.  I tried squeezing the questions to the left to give the feedback answers more space to grow in to but it appears the drop downs are floated right so that did not work. I tried bolding the answer in form view hoping it would bold the text in review mode but it had no affect.

I read thru the posts in E-Learning Heroes and did not find a solution.

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

Hello Mr C,

I am attaching the story file.  It uses interactive hotspots to navigate to information text, videos, and some "self-check" quizzes.  The issue we are having is on the house in the top row, left side.  Clicking on that reveals another view of the house with a hot spot.  If you click on that you arrive at the matching/drop down quiz where we have the difficulty.  I have also attached a screen shot.

Really appreciate your looking in to this and any feedback.

Note: this activity is still under development, nearly complete, so if you "browse around" some of the other views and hotspots may be klunky.  Eventually this may be redone in 3D :)

Thanks again!

Hi Paul, thanks for sharing your file! The correct answers will appear to the right of the drop-down boxes by default. With your slide layout, there isn't much space for the correct answers, so the font size will shrink to fit in the space allotted.

You could try exploring other question types, like a matching drag-and-drop. You could even create a freeform interaction, which would give you complete control over the design! ☺️
