I am a designer with Navient and I have been running into the issue where I cannot place the "Retry Quiz" button into my quizzes. While I have been designing around this issue for quite some time it has become apparent to me that it has existed for months. Is it schedule to be fixed anytime soon?
I have tried a lot of various solutions but none of them are really working. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. At this point I have just resorted to creating tests that do not randomize the questions.
I am really starting to miss randomizing my tests. :(
I'm not sure I understand the issue that you've run into - are you unable to insert the retry button or is it not functioning as you'd expect?
Are you shuffling the answers or the questions from a question bank? The answers was an issue fixed in Update 5 of Storyline detailed here. (You can download the update there as well if you haven't done so already). I don't see an issue reported in terms of retrying the quiz associated with a question bank - but I'd be happy to take a look at your .story file and then do some further investigation.
I have found that if you are trying to move the Retry button off of the results layer to the Fail layer, the button breaks. I just left it on the main results layer in the hidden state that triggers to normal on condition the Fail layer is visible... I dont know if that is whats happening with your project, but that is why it was broke on mine.
