One of the interactions I'm using in a course on Patient Education is a slider to visualize the effects of low health literacy. The slider functions perfectly in Chrome and Internet Explorer but does not work in Firefox. Is there anything I can adjust to improve functionality in different browsers. In this case specifically Firefox but if there are some general "rules of thumb" for different browsers, that would be helpful too! The .story file for the slider slide is attached.
Storyline 2 output is not supported for HTML5 in Firefox, and Firefox can block Flash by default, but there is an easy way to change that behavior as described here.
You'll also want to make sure that you're testing the published output in the intended environment as detailed here. And since you asked about general rules of thumb for browsers, here are the browsers that are supported for Storyline 2:
