I'm using Storyline 2 , successfully downloaded a template from the E-Learning website and added it to the My Documents/My Articulate Projects/Storyline Templates folder. Additionally, I've been able to import the template into my project.
However, when I go to insert a new slide, the downloaded slide doesn't appear as a template in the "Insert Slides" menu.
The file was a .story file which, after much searching seemed to be the root of my problem. I guess I was expecting the downloaded templates to be in .storytemplate format.
Do authors typically produce in .storytemplate format and if so, is there a way to filter to find that content?
On our download page, most of the files are .story files. You could just open them and save as a new project. If you need to save them as .storytemplate files, you could do so and save them on your computer.

Hello Adam,
I want to confirm that the file you downloaded was a .storytemplate file, or if it was a .story file. Can you share the file that you downloaded?
