Hello! I just updated to Storyline 2...yay! Is there anything specific I need to do to import my Storyline modules? I'm assuming everything will work just as it did in the older version.
Also, a quick question regarding storage. After I've created a module and published it to my hard drive, I like to save space by moving the original story file onto Box. Do you foresee this being an issue if I need to bring the story file back onto my computer to make edits? I know in the past it has been a challenge saving files on a server.
To upgrade files you'll just click to open in Storyline 2 and then it'll make a back up copy of your SL1 file as well. There may be some differences such as the way text is dealt with as detailed here or for example how in Articulate Storyline 1, restricted and locked navigation settings only affected the menu. In contrast, the navigation settings in Articulate Storyline 2 affect both the menu andthe player buttons, making it much easier to control the overall navigation for your course. As far as storage, you can back up files to another site or options such as Box (lots of users mention Dropbox here in the forums) but you'll want to make sure that you're downloading to your local drive and working off your local file to ensure that everything works as expected.
