I have created a course that I have incorporated subtitles to. These subtitles are generated from a variable and slide triggers that react to cue points on the timeline. When I export out the course to a translations word document it doesn't capture all the text. It captures some that are in the triggers but not all. Can someone take a look and see if they see the issue?
I am attaching the word document that I exported out and the Storyline file.
Thanks for sharing the file and letting us take a look.
I see the same issue that you're describing in your file, but I wanted to start with a simpler question. Is there a reason you're not using the built-in closed captioning of Storyline? Although they can't be translated using the normal Storyline process, then can be translated separately and added back in.
Hello Ashley. I am experiencing the same problem as Brandon with only some of the triggers being included in the translation export. Have you found out what is causing the problem?
Personally I am not using the built-in closed captions because I then need to export/import every single slide, which is too time consuming.
Thanks for reaching out. We haven't found the culprit in Brandon's case, but we're not going to give up there!
What version of Storyline are you using? Also, would you also be willing to share your .story for troubleshooting? You can send it to us privately by using this upload link.
We'll run through the process, and let you know what we find!
