I'm new at this and have a basic question related to how Jaws is reading an interaction. I'm testing the Opportunity timeline template from the content library. I've changed the layer name for the first oval to Timeline Option 1. The object is still named Oval 1 and that's what the screen reader is reading. I've used Focus Order to make sure the label is correct there. I'm not sure what my options are. I appreciate any help. Thanks!
We are happy to help! It sounds like you might be changing the name of the object rather than the alt text. You'll want to right-click the Oval, select Accessibility, and then edit the alt text. Here's a screenshot!
