Storyline Hyperlinks not working when published.

There were some brief posts earlier I searched but there was no answer that was relevant to what I needed to know.

When publishing locally all links work as they should, both to our Intranet and to the Interwebs. However, when I put it on the network drive for all to access we run into issues with none of the hyperlinks working.

The hand comes up in the player indicating that it "should" work and open a new page/link but the browser does nothing. I have seen posts on here noting that when it comes to network drives things get a little wonky. But there is no more detail about what wonky is and how to fix it..... so.... how do I fix it?

We do not currenly use an LMS (sourcing, but not on the radar anytime in the near future) and the network is the way we deliver training across the firm so I need to find an appropriate fix to ensure we can use the links to complete learning tasks.
