Storyline Templates and Slide Masters

Ok. Sorry about this rudimentary question, but I need help. I built a template and saved it as .storytemplate
I created it in Storyline and didn't bother with slide masters. When I need to insert a specific look I return to the templates and make a choice and the code with broken links is inserted.
When creating a template, what is the purpose of the 'Slide Master' view? Is that just for the layouts, color, and look and feel? I would still need to program in Storyline. Also, in the Slide Master View in Storyline, I don't see where you can delineate the different font sizes for various types of headings and body text as you can in PowerPoint. Thanks for clarification.

Hi Robbin,
As a starting point, have you seen these Articulate tutorials?
Using and Creating Storyline Templates
Customizing your Project Design
Includes sections on Slide Masters and Feedback Masters
Thanks Rebecca. I have gone through those tutorials already. I'm going to start over and see what happens.
Perhaps when you hit a snag you can upload what you've got, explain what you thought would/should/could happen, and the community can help you sort it out.
