I'm hoping someone can help. I'm new to Storyline, but am very familiar with similar programs like Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I tried doing the practice exercise, but when I attempted to insert the first picture, and I went to the folder ("All Pictures" extension displayed), the folder appeared to be empty (which it isn't). When I changed the extension to "All formats," I could then see the folders that contained the things I wanted to insert, but got the, "not a supported format" message. Not sure why I'm having this issue. Anyone know why?
Hi, Diane -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! In addition to Michael's suggestion on image format, may I also ask if you are working locally as described here? And have you tried running through the troubleshooting steps listed here to see if you find improvement?
Strange thing is it works with all of my photographs, etc., just not the
samples. Doesn't seem to recognize the extensions, even though this is
stuff provided by the manufacturer. Thanks to both of you for your help.

That does seem weird. What (file) type of images are you trying to insert?
