Once I have recorded my screen in SL2 and created View Mode or Try Mode slides, many of the text boxes (Click, Scroll etc) are the wrong size. I have attached a Word document to illustrate this.
How can I adjust this so i do not need to go to every slide and adjust each individual object?
You can customize the color theme and font for screen recording captions, but it sounds like you also need the option to create a default size setting. I can see how that would be a handy feature, and I'll gladly pass that along to my team.
For now, have you tried using the format painter to quickly apply formatting to each caption?
Alyssa,
Thank you for the information.
The link you put in here is pretty, kinda, almost but not quite there.
There is a video that mentions exactly what you suggested…. Format Painter!
If I follow those directions I can change most everything except for the Font Size… unless I’m missing something.
I’ll have to go through it again and take it slower.
Hey David! It looks like you may have replied via email, and the screenshot didn't come through. Can you click the View button to open the thread in ELH, then add the attachment there?
I don't have my computer up anymore.
I can try later.
But perhaps I can demonstrate here.
I want the word CLICK in the box all on one line.
It comes out like this
Cli
ck
If the font was smaller or the box resized properly it would work.
Ah, I see. You are correct--you can set up a default color and font type, but not font size. I can see how that would be a handy feature, though. I'd be glad to pass that idea along to the team. Thanks!
