Storytemplate Question

I know that I can Save As and make my story project a Story Template (*.storytemplate) to be used in other projects.
Is there a way to just save individual slides from a project as templates? For example, in my current project, I needed to save three slides as templates for another project. To just save the slides and not the entire project, I made a copy of my project with a different name and deleted all the slides except for the three slides, and then saved that file as a storytemplate.
Is there an easier way to save just a few slides as templates?

You can import those particular slides into a new file and use the Save function to make these into a template.
