Hello, I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere--but I can't seem to locate an answer. I have Storyline 1 and am having trouble linking to my video shared on Dropbox. I've tried the web link and I've also tried an embed code using the iframe tags.
I've also tried to insert the link as a web object. When I "test' the link in the pop out menu, it loads, but when I publish to view it, I only get a grey box.
Are you viewing the published output locally or did you upload to your web server or LMS? You'll want to ensure you do the latter to properly test things such as web objects and linked videos.
I wasn't able to access the link you shared as it seems to need a log in.
As far as Dropbox and iFrames that's a bit outside my area of expertise, but I saw that you also reached out in this thread and that Phil was providing some guidance, so I'd defer to the community expertise for anything further on streaming videos from Dropbox. I know a number of users have mentioned hosting their published output in Dropbox, but that is referencing a .html file and not just a video file set up.

Also when I view the rendered html in the browser--the iframe appears to load correctly with the correct URL.
Hi Tamara,

I uploaded it to my LMS
I've also tried uploading just to WordPress without the LMS:

I've used iframes with youtube videos on the site so I don't believe that it is permissions.
IT seems like Dropbox doesn't like iframes. Any work around for this?

Just wanted to link a similar thread of Tamara's for anyone that may be following along.
Thanks for your responses. I appreciate it.
