When I select the wrong answer in a quiz question and then hit submit, the feedback does not display until I click the submit button twice. If I select the correct answer and click submit, the feedback automatically appears. It's having me click twice when I select the wrong answer, but only once on the right answer. Any thoughts on why it does this? I'm using a storyline 360 version 3.72.29654.0.
I've seen this happen if you have multiple tries, but no Try Again prompt.
The first click submits the interaction, but since there is no prompt for try again, there is no feedback layer. The second click submits the second time, and (if it is set to 2 attempts), shows the Incorrect feedback. With multiple attempts, Try Again shows on every incorrect attempt until the last one, when Incorrect shows.
Hi Walt, changing the attempts from 2 to 1 resolved the problem. We remove the "try again" layer since we provide the feedback. This was extremely helpful, thank you very much!!
