Syncing audio and animation in Storyline in multiple-language tran
Mar 25, 2014
I'm currently working on a e-Learning program that is available in English, but will be translated into 6 additional languages, including Japanese, Korean, and other non-Roman languages. The course comprises an audio script that syncs with on-screen animations. The developers working on the course in Storyline speak English, but not Japanese, Korean or the other languages. It’s relatively easy for developers to synch the audio with the animations in the English version, but in order for them to do the same with the animations and audio script in Japanese, Korean and the other languages, we will need to precisely time code each of the non-English audios and scripts. This is a time-consuming and laborious process, and I wondered whether anyone has any experience with a similar project and might have some suggestions for streamlining? Thanks very much in advance!
