Text box that slides into view on mouse over

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a bit of text in a side bar that slides into view on mouseover and slides back to the side of the view (minimises) when the mouse leaves the area of the text box. Thinking this might be best on another layer somehow.

Any ideas or examples anyone has for this type of thing??
