Do you also have the problem that variables in text-boxes are never on the same position if you compare the flash and the html5 output?
Is there any setting for the text-box to place a variable more or less on the same position in html5 and flash?
My variable is a case number for randomized case studys. It should be displayed as number in a small box in line with some other buttons. But for me it is more or less impossible to get the number centred into that box in both output versions.
I've had this exact same problem - variables that were added to a shape with 'edit text' (with an image used as a fill) display at the bottom of the shape in flash output and the top of the shape in HTML5 output. Once they're at the top the text is unreadable as it's over a black image.
This thread is a bit older, so if you're experiencing some odd behavior as well - we'll want to take a look at your .story file and know more information about where you're testing the HTML5 output, as you'll want to confirm you're using one of the supported browsers here.
