I have saved my Articulate project on Google Drive, as it was taking up too much space on my laptop, but now I get the error message The Project "Storyline" is locked by another process every time I try to load it.
Looking at previous discussions I have followed the advice and moved it back onto my C drive, but still nothing is working.
Hi Adam. I had this happen recently too. Was very concerned to see an error like this. Renaming the file fixed it in my case. Have you tried that? Regards
Sure is. Storyline is the only application I use that has a requirement that files are not to be located on a network share or even an attached external drive. Good that you were able to recover this file in this instance though. Regards

That has worked, but now I do not have enough room on my C drive to save the updates. Very frustrating how you cannot work with files in the cloud

OK. Now I cannot save my project because I "do not have enough memory". I am on my local c drive but nothing.
Can anyone from Storyline help me? I don't want to lose the last 4 hours of work
Hi, Adam. I'm sorry you're at this roadblock.
We're happy to help you through this! In fact, I see you're already working closely with one of our Support Engineers, Robert.
Fingers crossed his recommendations helped and that you're able to locate a temporary file using the steps he shared. Please keep us posted!
How big is the project?
