Theme from PPT not converting probably

Aug 20, 2018

Hi Team,

I wonder if you can help. I have created many PowerPoint presentation and are in the moment in trying to convert them into articulate. All works good so far little adjustments here and there but it is manageable.

One big issue i have so is that all m slides are with a Company Theme background having on the button the Company Name - the word confidential and the year  also each page is numbered. For some reason after conversion the company name is unreadable. The confidential slide split in 2 (nearly goes off the page) and the number on the page comes out as a # . It really looks bad and as it does not recognize the theme as on separate image I can not even delete it to make it look good.

How can I fix the issue or t least make it good looking?

Thanks in advance

Hi Dorita,

I was testing this out using Storyline 360 and Powerpoint 2016, and I found I was able to import in the Powerpoint files that had a theme applied. That also created a set of masters based on the theme.

The slide numbers didn't import, nor did they show a # mark as you mentioned. I do see the # mark in powerpoint though when the slide number appears Footer of a master slide. Storyline doesn't support slide numbering, so it makes sense that it is stripped out of the Powerpoint upon import.

I'd love to test your file as well and see if I was perhaps setting things up differently. Can you share a copy of your file here with me?
