Third layer not triggering

Hello,
I have a slide with 3 layers; sub, ob, and 3. The base layer has a piece of audio and at the end, two boxes with triggers that take the learner to sub and ob, which also have audio. The idea is to trigger the layer 3, also with audio, to play after the audio has completed on sub and ob. I tried doing this with a number variable, adding 1 to the variable once the media on sub and ob have completed, with another trigger to move to layer 3 once that number variable is greater than 1. But its still not triggering layer 3 and it's audio. Any ideas?

You need to give the trigger a little room on the timeline to trigger. Add a half-second of empty space to the timeline of both the sub and op layers.
