For my MacBook Pro running Parallels, I need to pinch with two fingers to zoom in or out.
If you're also using a Mac: Choose Apple menu () > System Preferences, then click Trackpad. You can change the type of gesture, learn which gestures work with your Mac, and more. Here's a quick video overview of this area.
I'm on an HP, but that worked. That is really obscure and well-hidden.
Judging from all of the posts on this subject, everybody really hates the
tiny thumbnails. And hates that after resizing them, Storyline keeps
reverting back to tiny. And if they're going to get that tiny, put a zoom
slider or a menu option to be able to get them back to a usable size.

Try closing some tabs. There is also a slider on bottom right to increase the size.
You can ignore this ignore this question, I just figured out what to do!
How did you do it
Hello Emine and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

How do I resize the thumbnails in the scene panel?
Hold down your Ctrl key and scroll your mouse wheel. Scroll forward to zoom in, or backward to zoom out.
P.S. Here's a quick demo I made for you using Peek 360.
Good morning, How do I make them larger if I'm on a laptop without a mouse?
Hello and good question, Alison!
Does your laptop have a trackpad?
If you're using a trackpad, you can resize the thumbnails in the scene panel by pressing Ctrl+Trackpad or just "pinching" to zoom in or out.
Let me know if that helps!
Hi Katie, Yes my laptop has a trackpad, but I haven't found any "gestures" that achieve this. What do I do on the trackpad?
