Today's release and fonts
Jul 22, 2020
I am having trouble with the new release that came out today.
My fonts all changed. I try to fix them, but I can't.
I will make it look one way when I'm designing, and then when I preview it, it looks different.
I used to be able to make my text align to the top left in text boxes. Even when I've clearly set it to top left, it's forcing it to center.
This problem just started today with the new release.

Also, when I preview a slide I get a different result for that slide than when I preview the whole scene.
When I preview just the slide, I get the correct font size. When I preview the whole scene, the font size is wrong.
Hi Aletha,
I'm so sorry for the trouble you ran into! We released a build Tuesday and found an error in how our new text styles feature was working. It sounds like you may have run into that? Luckily, our team worked hard to release a hotfix today - so the latest build Build 3.42.22724.0 resolved it with the fix noted as:
If you're still seeing problematic text, can you share a copy of your project file with our Support Team? They'll delete it when they're done testing but that'll be the fastest way to get you help!
I submitted a case to the support team. I didn't receive a case number. Am I supposed to receive a case number.
After I clicked the submit button, I didn't get any confirmation that the case had been successfully submitted.
I had the same issue: case 02366021
I installed the fix but the problem persists. Indeed the font size seems now to be correct but not the font type. This is happening in the question text box of my quizzes. please refer to my case and to the .story file I sent you to fix it defintely.
I submitted a case, but I am not sure that it went through correctly. Is the system supposed to send me a case number?
Yes, Aletha. You will get a case number e-mailed to you with a confirmation. I took a look and I'm not seeing any new cases associated with the account you are commenting with here in the forums.
I see that you replied with a similar comment above. Have you tried twice to submit or just the one time?
Thanks for contacting the support team, Andrea. I see that you are currently working with Philam.
I tried just one time. Should I try again?
I am not aware that I am working with anyone. Nobody has contacted me.
Yes, I think you should try again Aletha. Click here to contact our support team.
Also, please keep in mind that you're replying to a forum thread where we are responding to multiple people. My last reply was directed toward Andrea. You can pop into the forums via the 'View' option vs. 'Reply' to see the entire conversation.
Hi Leslie, yes and also with Eloise.
Currently the situation is really strange. The text box, where the question is, has a wrong font. If I export my project in word (via the translation feature) I can see that the whole document contains the correct font (lato light). If I try to import that file in the story project, affected slides remain with the wrong font (i guess open sans). It looks like the textbox is not able to recognize my font so it is using the default one.
I have also to say that not all slides are affected. The issue seems to be random and this makes the investigation hard
I let you working on it guys...
Thanks
Leslie,
When I click the Submit Case button, I get a symbol that is a red circle with a line through it.
I suppose that indicates that I am not allowed to submit a case.
My organization purchased a team subscription to Articulate 360. Why is it that I am not allowed to submit a case?
Aletha
Hi Aletha!
So sorry that you're running into this snag! I'm going to submit a case on your behalf so that we can begin troubleshooting.
You'll hear from our team shortly.
