tracking - no deterioration when quiz is passed ones

Apr 30, 2014

Dear Community,

i have a question about tracking.

I want to create a course that should be passed, when the Learner passed a quiz. This is of course no problem. In our LMS a traffic light switches to green then.

But now I want that this green light stays green foreever, no matter, what the Learner is doing in the course. For example, when the Learner enters the course again to look up some things an starts the quiz again and fails, the status "passed" from his first try should not be altered and the green light in the LMS should stay green and should not switch to "yellow" = incomplete (as it does right now) again.

Is that possible with articulate storyline?

Thanks for an answer!

Yours Sina

Hi Sina and welcome to Heroes!

It sounds like a setting you'll need to connect with your LMS team about. The majority of LMSs consider a course to be in review mode once you've reached the completion requirement - but it sounds like your LMS is resetting the course. If you're able to share what LMS you're using, there may be other community members who have encountered the same thing.

Hi Sina,

Have you enabled the Resume behavior for your course? If you set it to always resume, the course would pick up where the user left off (presumably if they completed it on the results slide) and then they'd be able to navigate back through the rest of the course to review it., and it'll be dependent on what you've set up for your navigation (built in menu, review button, etc.).
