Windows 8: Press Windows Key+X on your keyboard to display the Tools Menu, and select Programs and Features. Or, right-click the lower left corner of your monitor to display the Tools Menu, and selectPrograms and Features.
Windows 7 or Windows Vista: Go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.
Windows XP: Go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
Your registration will now be released from the original computer. You may install the software on the new computer, and then follow the activation instructions sent via email at the time of the original purchase.
Also, as a reminder the Articulate EULA, doesn't permit transferring software to another user. If there's a special condition that would require a transfer, such as an employee leaving the company, you'd need to request consent and receive permission from Articulate.
If you're deactivating the license to place Storyline on another computer that you use, there isn't a need to uninstall unless you no longer want Storyline on that computer system.
Hello - We have a laptop that died. We can't go in and deactivate it. Can you tell me the best way to get that license transferred? I really need this done.

I noticed a "Deactivate" button under Help in Storyline 2. Do you still need to uninstall if you deactivate the licnese?
