TRANSLATION STRATEGY
Sep 17, 2020
Hello everyone
I am working on a EU project and my task is to develop an educational game that will be translated in 5 languages. The translations will be done by each project partner.
Can you please suggest a step-by-step translation strategy that works in order to advice other partners how to proceed with translations but also having the project ready in 6 different languages (including elements such buttons etc)
Best regards,
Sofia

Hi Sofia,
This step-by-step user guide on translating courses for Storyline 360 should help!

Is there a way to slip the project into parts for translation? I mean that the project is not finished yet but there are some parts that are ready. How can I slit the project translation in 2 or 3 parts without create discrepancies in the final version? Is there sth you can suggest?
Hi Sofia,
There is not a built-in way to split the translation process for the file, but you could import sections of the file into a new file for translation. Then you could gather them all back together when completed if needed.
