did you save locally or on a network? If you use a network see this aricle for more informations on problems with saving files and try saving locally maybe even under a new name. If you save locally and it´s not working you might want to contact the support directly.
Thanks Susi. I was saving locally and have actually received a number of different error messages when trying to save the file. I will contact support.
Oh no, Simone! If you're seeing a bunch of error messages, please reach out to our team here and they'll help you out! If you want to let me know once you start a case I can follow along too.
Sorry you're getting hung up! Are you still unable to save and close your Storyline 360 file? I do see that you also opened a support case--you're one step ahead of me! We'd hate for you to lose your work, so we'll try and help you get this sorted out.
If you're able to send a copy of your file to us, you can click here to attach it directly to your case.
Thanks for letting us know, Simone! I'm glad to hear that worked. In addition to working locally did you look at the information about file names and file paths, in the article Susi previously shared? You can read a bit more about those again here below the local file location piece.
I'm sure you don't want to lose your work, so let's see if we can get around that error message!
First, be sure your file is saved to your local hard drive. Working from a network or shared drive is risky, so it's best to work from your C: drive to protect your files.
Also, try copying the slides from the original file into a new file, a few at a time. You'll want to save the new file to your local drive between each copy and paste. Let me know if that solves it!

Hi - I'm getting a similar issue - whenever I try to save I get the following message:
"The project file could not be saved.
Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: value."
This is weird because I've clearly added a project file name and I have it saving to my hard drive on my brand new computer. Can somebody help?
