I am new to Storyline, and have worked through several problems on my own, but this one has me stumped. I was working on a module when it suddenly closed. When I try to re-open it, I get this message . (See attachment.)
I see that you opened a support case and connected with my teammate, Amlan. That was a great call! We can continue the conversation if there if you need further assistance.
If anyone is experiencing a similar error, please try the troubleshooting steps below, and let me know if you still need help!
Please try restarting your computer. If the project is locked by another computer service, restarting the computer should unlock it and allow you to continue working.
You'll want to make sure you're working on your local hard drive, (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.
If your project files are currently on a network drive, copy them to your local hard drive. Then continue editing and publishing.
