Trying to make Battleship Game from tutorial

Hi:

I'm trying to learn gamification in Storyline 360. I did a simple game that David Anderson made a tutorial for and all worked great. Now I'm trying the Battleship game that Allsion  LaMotte created on the Articulate website. I've gotten up to about halfway through Step 8. Starting to get confused there. I'll attach my file of what I have and can someone see if I did everything correctly to this point?
