I want a person in our organization to upgrade to Storyline 2 (from V1) but it will take a month to get the purchase order. Can she download the demo version and then with the upgrade is approved use this to validate the downloaded copy?
I would assume so, but you might want to check directly with Storyline Support. The trial version of SL2 gives you all the same features (nothing is locked) as the purchased/upgraded version. The limitation though is you can use it only for 30 days and then need to activate it to continue use.
If she can get approved in 30 days, you should have no issues and she'll be able to work with the trial version in the meanwhile.
