How do I use a company powerpoint template for the quiz background in storyline? When i select a quiz layout, it comes out blank instead of the company template slides.
Have you imported the company template? If so, then take the time to apply that template to the slides you wish to see it on. Open the Slide Master view to see the slide masters for that particular story. The Masters work in the same way as they do in PPT (so there is one "base" master and then a number of variants, including questions and answers).
If you have not yet imported the company template, then I would do so. In SL, from the program launch window (with the purplish sidebar), select the option to import a PPT. The program walks you through a series of prompts so you know in advance pretty well what you will see when it's done. When the import is finished, you probably want to save that file ("Shade.Dada.Corporate.Template.story" or something equally informative).
I would then open a second instance of SL and copy/paste a few slides from the Template.story file into your other story.
