Per past tips from Tom K, my go to source for editable graphics was eps files which I imported into powerpoint, then ungrouped and edited. Easy, fast, and free! However, apparently Microsoft no longer allows use of eps files. I don't have $ to spend (I am a volunteer teacher) and no real graphics skill. What do I do now?
2. He mentions Inkscape which is free, but I've not had good luck with it opening .eps files. If you can get the same file in .ai, it can open them, then edit, or export.
Here are some free sources I use. Note that even on some that claim to be free, individual pieces may be more restricted. A lot of these have several forms. Inkscape can open ai, and Paint.net can open jpg and png.
Commons.wikimedia.org is my best source.
This may be heavy on medical images, but that's where I work.
Thanks again, Walt! I will give it a try. I had built up a good collection of eps files so hope it works. Love them as I used to easily change colors, shapes, etc in ppt. Thanks for the goldmine of a list too!

2 caveats: 1. I don't know when this was written.
