Using Multiple Quizes in Storyline

Cher Storyline Peeps

I am working on a rather complex course, content wise.  In essence, the learner reviews 5 different topics and within each topic/section there are quizzes (2 questions per topic) - they have to get these right.  However, as a BONUS to this course, we wanted to add a timed, bonus round of questions - mostly just to challenge the learner, but the passing or failing of the course has nothing to do with the bonus round.  My thoughts are that in terms of passing the score over to the LMS we have to use the results slide from the "main content".  Assuming the learner Passes that quiz, I could put a button on the SUCCESSFUL page that allows the learner to jump to the timed bonus round if they wanted to do that.  If they didn't they would still have the option to close the course out and get the credit for taking it.  But if they wanted to do the bonus round they could do that - could we use a result slide to show them how they did in the bonus round, but we would set the result slide of the "main quiz" as the LMS scoring.

Not sure if I am clear on what I am trying to achieve here - but if anyone could provide any inputs that would be great.

Thanks
Geraldine

Hi Geraldine!

That certainly sounds like something that you could accomplish with Storyline.

When you publish, you have the option to choose which Result slide reports to the LMS, so any additional should be just fine.

I like the idea of adding it to the success layer, so that the branching already treats it as a 'bonus' without extra work.

Let us know how it goes as you work on this and if you have any further questions :)
