Using SL2 to create REAL games (EXAMPLE)
Feb 09, 2016
I am an instructional designer who started working with Storyline 2 a little less than a year ago. In July of 2015 I took a Yukon Learning course on how to use the software and it taught me a lot of useful information.
At that point, I decided to create a game, just for fun, to use as a platform for experimenting with all of the features and theories available. Anyway, several months later I have finished my game/experiment and I wanted to know, who else is using Storyline in unconventional ways, whether for work or for fun?

Interesting game Greg. I particularly liked figuring out the passwords.
I'd be interested to see if anyone else has done anything similar.
Hi, Greg!
Thanks so much for sharing your example -- nicely done! I wanted to stop in to mention that you may want to EDIT the title of your post to read "FREEBIE" or "DEMO", and hopefully lots of others will share how they are using SL2 in unconventional ways, as well!
Also, in case you weren't aware, you would also be welcome to share your post over here in our design-related Building Better Courses forum. Many thanks! :)
Cool - thanks for sharing Greg. You may also want to include the .story file here for others to take a look under the hood. Also feel free to update the title of your post with the words "Example" so that folks know you're sharing some good stuff here!
I also just realized, Greg and Ben, that if you or others have not seen the following already, you may want to check out:

Hope that helps!
High Greg, great game really atmospheric, thanks for sharing.
