Using Storyline2 and Flash Driver

Dec 15, 2015

I just downloaded a trial version of Storyline2 to my home computer so I can install and use it from home as well as work during snow days.    I have Windows 8 on my home computer.   When I try to open Storyline2 I keep getting a message that Storyline2 requires version 10 or higher of Adobe Flash Driver.   When I try to download Flash Driver I keep getting a message that it is already integrated into IE for Windows 8.    When I use the Flash Driver test it works and I have version 19.     How to I get Storyline2 to recognize that I have it installed?

Hi Marti,

When did you download the trial of Storyline 2? Can you confirm that it was within the last few months from a link such as the one here?  Also do you have Flash installed on your windows 8 computer, outside of the browser? For example, Chrome has Flash built in - but you can also choose to download it to be a local installation and that's what you'll need to be able to run and open Storyline. You can visit Adobe's website to download it and if you're seeing an Error message while trying to do so in Internet Explorer that you already have it you may want to confirm by trying to download it in another browser.
