Is there a way yet to have variables interact with a player? For instance, let's say you don't want the next button on the player to show until the learner has reached a certain point?
I'm glad that Michael was able to assist you here and I just wanted to point out that replying via email includes your signature here. You're welcome to edit your post to update and remove that information if you wish.
I created to disable the next button until all the states have been visited, but it is not working for me. I have attached a screenshot of all my triggers. The Next button is not showing but it does not come back when all the states have been visited.

Can you post your .story file here so that we can have a closer look?
You'll also want to make sure that the slide properties are set to "resume saved state" so that it remembers the buttons have been visited after jumping to the other slides.
As Michael mentioned, it'll be best if you can share your .story file here so that we can take a look at what you've set up.
Sometimes the visited state is forgotten if those other triggers visit locations that show multiple slides before they return. I think that is why most of us set a variable when the other location is finished and use it to reset NEXT to normal.
The slide properties is set to Resume saved state and it still isn't working. I'm forwarding over the course. Slides 1.29 linking to 1:25, 1.26, 1.27, 1.28
Your trigger said change state of NEXT when the state of those others is visited. The problem is, there was nothing to start that sequence. That trigger never started. it needed to be attached to an action, like the start of the timeline, some user action, etc.
I set it to change the state of NEXT when the timeline starts, if those conditions are met. So every time the timeline starts, that trigger is checked. The key change was changing the when part of the trigger.

In Storyline 2, you can now hide/disable/show the Next/Prev nav buttons with triggers and conditions.
Wow! This is great! Would you possibly be able to send a SL2 file that shows how to do this, or post how?

Please attach the .story file, so people can see what might cause the problem.
Hi Jamil,
The .story file is the file you worked on in Storyline for editing - that's what we'll need to take a look at triggers, slide properties, etc.
Hope I did it correctly this time, I apologize.
Try this trigger for the next button
How did you get there, this is what I have. I'm new to storyline.
Your trigger said change state of NEXT when the state of those others is visited. The problem is, there was nothing to start that sequence. That trigger never started. it needed to be attached to an action, like the start of the timeline, some user action, etc.

Great suggestion, Walt. Jamil, please let us know if that will work for you or if you still need further assistance. :)
