I have created a lot of variables in the Articulate Storyline format. They were published there and tested to run great. A few minor modifications were needed and Articulate 2 was rolled out and downloaded. Articulate 2 is not accepting the variables created in the original storyline. Any suggestions please?
Thank you Emily - yes we are working locally. The team and I seem to think as we are continuing to create additional learning modules that there is an issue with SL2 variables and layers. They simply are not functioning properly. Several eyes have been on the project and no one can seem to come up with why it is not working properly. We have found that if the trigger is set to go to a new slide there is no issue, only when trying to trigger it to a layer. We did not have this issue on SL1.

Are you able to replicate the behavior in a brand new file as well, not just those that you are upgrading? If you're unable to share the information here publicly, you can always share it privately with our Support team.

Hello Tracy!,
Please make sure you are working locally as described here. Also you could try to import the file into a new Storyline file as well.
Also you could post the SL 1 file here to see if we can get the same results.

Hi Tracy,
