I have a course notepad that stores students notes in a text variable called %allNotes%. In the player settings have set Resume to Always resume however when I reload the course/page %allNotes% is blank! I thought that when a course resumed it was supposed to save the variables and reload them.
P.S. the slide properties are set to: When Revisiting: Resume Saved State.
Thanks for sharing a link to the .story file here with us. Are you hosting this in an LMS? It's possible the LMS is also playing a role in the resume behavior - have you looked at testing this at SCORM Cloud too, which is an industry standard for testing SCORM Content. If you're unable to recreate the behavior there, please connect with your LMS team - but if you see the same thing we'll want to take a look at your .story file.
This sits outside of a LMS and should rely on the flash cookie, I have tested it with another story file which DOES store the variable so I'm confused now. I have attached my storyline file. Can you please take a look and see if I'm doing something stupid.

I see that you've got some Javascript triggers set up as well for - is that where you're setting the slide variable for %allNotes% as I didn't see a trigger for that one otherwise? I may have just missed it though. If it's within the Javascript, I'm not equipped to support that element so hopefully someone here in the community will be able to chime in.
