Yes, you'll need to use variables. Let's say you have 2 chapters in your course (Chapter 1 & Chapter 2) with 2 buttons on your menu, a button corresponding to each chapter.

You'll need to create a variable in Chapter 1 on the last page of the chapter that will record that the learner has completed Chapter 1. Then, you'll program the trigger on your Chapter 2 button to go to page 1 of Chapter 2 on the condition that your Chapter 1 variable is equal to whatever value represents completed. By doing this, your trigger will only "fire" if that condition is met. You can get more complex if you want and have a pop-up appear that instructs the learner that Chapter 2 is only available once Chapter 1 has been completed if they try to click the button before completing Chapter 1.

By the way, is it possible to change the video controls? I want it to show but i don't want it to be clickable... Is there any way to do that or is there any other way to make sure the user doesn't skip the video?
