I have a Storyline file that contains small <1 minute mp4 files within it. It's taking over an hour to publish. About how long would that take to publish? Maybe I'm just not being patient.
Or perhaps I should compress my files. What are the optimal settings that I should use to publish my mp4s so that they won't take so long to publish within the Storyline file?
Storyline automatically compresses videos. In Storyline 2, you can turn off compression for MP4 videos if you'd prefer.
That does not sound like a typical publishing time. You may want to look over the information here, and also please confirm that you are publishing your files locally as described here.
Thanks, Emily! I fixed it. I created my videos in Camtasia at 1920 x 1080. I cut the file size in half by making the videos 852 x 480. I know Storyline compresses the file but using smaller dimensions made less work for Storyline.
