Video length changing when moving on timeline

Hi All,

First time poster, frequent visitor :-)

I have a 2sec mp4 clip that I insert. The end of the video snaps to the end of the timeline and is at the currect duration. When I drag the video to be at the start of the timeline, the duration of the video increases (sticks to the end of the timeline).

How have I keep the video duration consist when moving it on the timeline.

    Thanks for sharing your issue. I understand how frustrating it is to not have the timeline display as you would prefer after you have inserted your video. Happy to assist!

    My colleague Leslie helped out another user in a similar post. Please take a look at her instructions for reference. Essentially, you need to remove the 'Show Until End' checkmark selection so it will adjust to ending when the duration is complete.

    direct after import a video remove "Show Until End" and set never "Show Always" for videos

     

    -> now the original length is preserved when moving it on the timeline
