I am including some video clips in my course and wanted the learners to have watched at least 75% of the video before they are allowed to move the the next item. Does anyone have a clever way to do this?
You could set the next button to disabled when timeline starts then add some offstage objects that change state to visited when timeline reaches eg 25 secs, 50 secs, 75 secs (don’t know length of your video). Then add a trigger to change state of next button to normal when state of all 3 offstage objects are visited.
You could probably use a similar method with variables.
Hey Wendy, I meant to say thanks for this, it is really helpful. I have been so bogged down with implementing our new LMS my day job has taken a back seat. Thanks for the idea, it looks like a great workaround.
