This may be a silly question with a simple solution but when I insert a video into storyline, and when published a little hand icon appears and a user is able to pause the video, and the timeline keeps going.
No question is a silly question (we've all had to start somewhere!) but you're right, there is a simple solution...
Insert a rectangle OVER the video on your slide, remove the outline and set the fill to 100% transparent - if you set it to 'no fill', the user will still be able to click through it onto the video.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Antony!
I've done that before for other items, not sure why I didn't think it would work with videos. Thanks again!
You're welcome Stephanie - good luck with the rest of your project.
Is this still the only way to do this??
Yup. I dream for the day when we no longer have to do this.
why would anyone want to click on a video anyways...it's odd that we have to build a transparent shield around it as the only method...
