Visual Progress Tracking

Dec 15, 2015

Hello!
a question please ... How can I show a diagram of the route taken by a person who complete the course or part of it?

I simply need to show the compiler in graphical form which road he has traveled to get to that solution rather than another ..

Thanks a lot

Hello!  I'm not sure exactly what your going for here... but maybe this link might provide some inspiration:

https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/showing-basic-progress-in-a-modular-quiz-design-source-file-included

In this example, you could assign a true/false variable for each slide.  Set the value to false initially.  When you click the right or wrong button, have it change the variable for the slide to true.  You can then use this variable to determine the state of your slide on the course "map".

I've taken the example in the link provided and added this functionality to the first two slides of the correct and incorrect path.  If you click the Incorrect or Correct button two times, hopefully you'll see what I'm saying.  This functionality will be much easier to manage if you only have one slide showing the "map" for the course instead of having the map on every slide.  In this case, I would include the map as a lightbox as opposed to having it on every slide.

I hope this helps!
