In this example, you could assign a true/false variable for each slide. Set the value to false initially. When you click the right or wrong button, have it change the variable for the slide to true. You can then use this variable to determine the state of your slide on the course "map".
I've taken the example in the link provided and added this functionality to the first two slides of the correct and incorrect path. If you click the Incorrect or Correct button two times, hopefully you'll see what I'm saying. This functionality will be much easier to manage if you only have one slide showing the "map" for the course instead of having the map on every slide. In this case, I would include the map as a lightbox as opposed to having it on every slide.
Hi, Davide - In addition to Preston's suggestions, you may want to check this out (even though it was created for SL1) for some ideas, and also this may be of some assistance. Best of luck with your project! :)
Hi Preston Your suggestion maybe great , also Your's Christie... I have to keep visualy track of the path made sure that students see exactly which path they did to get to that point
Glad you've been pointed in the right direction Davide, and if you're able to share what you end up with we're always happy to see more examples since the progress tracking is not something built into Storyline. Best of luck and happy holidays to you as well!

I hope this helps!
