Warning Message "Do you want to leave this site? - Changes you made may not be saved"

Jul 11, 2018

Please, can you assist me with some research for functions in Articulate?

Currently, when a learner is working through a course and then navigate off the page ( Chrome browser) or select ‘Back” in the address bar ( Chrome browser), the following message is displayed: "Do you want to leave this site? - Changes you made may not be saved" - This does not clearly state that they will not complete the course if they navigate away etc.

So is it possible to have a message customised to let the learner know that the lesson being worked through will not automatically save the progress? Or is there some kind of functionality that we can activate that will automatically save the progress of the learner.

Background: We use Edubrite LMS, where we upload our Scorm packages to, so we can track the progress and achievements of our learners. So when the learner clicks back on the browser instead of "EXIT" the progress is not saved. Our developers say it's a chrome issue and not fixable from the LMS side.

Can you please assist?
