Web object doesn't have scroll bars on iPhone/iPad

May 16, 2017

I'm trialling Storyline 3 and the big thing for me is the much improved HTML5. It works really well on my iPad and iPhone. So far so good. However I use JotForm as a web object to record training but when viewed on my iPad or iPhone there aren't any scroll bars so learners can't scroll down to fill in the information.

Any help with this would be most welcome. I've not had a chance to see if this happens with all web objects.

Hi Tony,

Thanks so much for reaching out. We're seeing an issue in Storyline 3 where web objects won't scroll while viewed on an iPhone or iPad, and seems to match what you're experiencing.

I'm going to add your experience to our report, and I'll tag this thread to be updated as soon as we get more information on a fix. You'll be notified immediately since you're now subscribed to this thread.

I appreciate you bringing this up, and I'm sorry it has been causing you headaches!

Hello all!

I'm happy to report that we just released Update 37 (Build 3.37.21453.0) for Storyline 360 which includes the fix so that web objects can be scrolled through when viewing a course on an iPad or iPhone.

Now, all you need to do is update!

To install the newest update for the Articulate 360 desktop app, simply click the blue Update button in the top right corner. The update will automatically download and install without any additional prompts.
