Web Object scaling in Modern player has changed
Oct 23, 2019
Hi all,
In the last month or so, the way the Modern player handles broswer window resizing has changed. I have multiple web objects in a project which have set dimensions to correctly fit their content (ie so that the content completely fills the web object without any scroll bars). Previously, the contents scaled with the browser window size but now this is no longer happening for newly published content (previously published content seems unaffected). I'd really prefer not to use the Classic player since the Modern player looks more... er... Modern...
Anyway, hoping this will be fixed soon.
Thanks, team.

This has gone on longer than a month, I understand it has been reported but no fix yet
I've checked Chrome, Firefox and Edge so far and they're all the same.
I usually keep all my applications updated though can't be too sure that I've done that for Storyline. In any case, it would be good to fix soon since all it seems to require is the css transform scale that used to apply to the entire slider container now needs to just be applied to the web object, maybe...
I think version 25 was the last time the scale worked correctly, has nmeant I have to think long and hard before using a web object now.
Wow that's a long way back. I would consider going back that far, though
(of course if that installer is still available)

Hi all!
We know this issue with web objects was definitely a pain! I'm happy to share that we just released Update 34 (Build 3.34.20804.0) for Storyline 360!
This update includes the bug fix for Web Objects that were misaligned and sized incorrectly in the published output!
All you need to do is update Storyline 360 on your Articulate 360 Desktop app!
