I do not know if this is a bug or possible new feature. When viewing a course that contains a web object on an iPad or iPhone, the web object does not resize or scale. The web object does resize (scale) when viewed on a computer. The web object points to a folder (web\index.html). In this case, the web object opens a game that was built in Phaser.
The work is sensitive so I won't be sharing a story file.
What I am doing is inserting a web object. I'm using a pdf for the object but the pdf isn't scaling in the window.

The PDF or any web object should be displayed within the Storyline slide - but it's not going to scale larger than that. You could look at hyperlinking to it, and allowing the learners to open it in a new tab?
If you're able to share privately our Support Team is always happy to take a look and sign an NDA.

You know what? I bet that the pdf was authored with scaling turned off. I'll give it a try with another one.

I know this is king of an old thread but we are still seeing the exact same problem with web objects that don't rescale when viewed on an iPad or iPhone. Important note : we work with both SL3 (up to date) and SL360 (also up to date) and the issue appears only with SL360 exports!
I'm sorry to hear you're still running into the same issue, but we'd love to help and take a look. Can you share examples of these courses from Storyline 3 and Storyline 360? That'll help us narrow down what's going on. You can post those here in E-Learning Heroes or send along to our Support Team privately!
We'll delete the files when we're done troubleshooting.

Hi Ashley,
I've sent a story file through the link you posted. Hope this issue gets solved, it is really a major problem for us.
Hi Adélaïde,
Thanks for working through this with Christopher! We'll do all we can to get this sorted out for you.
Has this been resolved?
This solution does not work in Storyline 360.
Same issue here, using Storyline 360.
Hello Jesse,
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you're running into an issue with Storyline 360 as well.
Is this when viewing the published output on an iPhone as well?
Yep. Web objects are not scaling correctly today, 7/27/2019.
Thank you to everyone who brought this bug to our attention!
Good news, we've released the fix today in Update 34 (Build 3.34.20804.0) for Storyline 360!
In the update, you'll find that Web Objects are no longer misaligned and sized incorrectly in the published output when using an iPhone!
All you need to do is update Storyline 360 on your Articulate 360 Desktop app!
Head over here to see all the other fixes included in this update.
