Does anyone know at what point the SendTinCanStatement is called? I found the function in the story.js file, but I don't see that it is actually from called anywhere?
Thanks for the response. We currently run online courses using our own custom coding, and I'm trying to see if there is a way I can implement storyline to make it faster to be able to put new course content together. I know I can use javascript to basically post to our php scripts, but I'm thinking possibly I can intercept the Tin Can response and use it instead....
Then once I can store the users progress in my database, I need to see if I can use that to allow users to continue courses where they left off without having to use cookies. I've been digging through the app.min.js file, as it seems that is the main js file that handles everything. I narrowed it down to the "executeAction" function that can be called to jump to a specific slide.
However, the scope of that function doesn't allow me to actually call it, so not sure if this is going to be possible. If you have any suggestions that would be great as well.
Custom recording of activities and progress isn't something I can provide support for, but I did want to point you to this xAPI spec. Adhere to this, and everything should work smoothly.
Beyond that, I'll leave any further customization recommendations in the hands of our community!

Hi Damion,
Happy to point you in the right direction! First, can you tell me a little more about what you're looking to do?
In the meantime, be sure to check out our handy guide on Implementing Tin Can API to Support Articulate Content.
