I'm getting ready to publish some updated content. I'm previewing as part of my steps and every slide starts with me seeing the slide layer as opposed to the base layer. What is going on?
A slide layer will show if there's a trigger to show slide layer when slide's timeline starts. If it's happening on every slide, I'd check in the master slide.
Tom, that was where the error was. I had made a copy of an old file and was updating graphics for 'buttons.' I was utilizing the 'change image' feature so that I didn't have to worry about fixing a bazillion triggers. I've never had this happen before, and I do it annually. I have noticed that since the most recent updates to Storyline 3, that 'when timeline starts' is showing up in the triggers wizard pane with out me initiating it.
Actually now that i'm in there and fixing these all, I think that i inserted one and than copied and pasted. Clearly i need more fresh air. Thanks for the quick response to unstick me and get me to the fixing and publishing stage:)

Can you share one of the slides?
